New Electronic Databases

Here are some new electronic databases the library has subscribed to:

Anthrosource –  a full text database of 32 journals published by the American Anthropological Association (AAA) representing more than 100 years of published scholarly research in the field of anthropology.

CountryWatch – this provides critical country-specific intelligence and data through it suite of products, which include:

  •  CountryReviews(tm) – an up-to-date series of publications for each country which includes demographic, political, economic, business, cultural and environmental information.
  • CountryWire(tm) – daily news coverage for every country in the world as well as a significant news archive made up of the compendium of regional news carriers.
  • CountryWatch Forecast(tm) – five-year macroeconomic forecast available for each country.

MediaMark Reporter (coming soon) – a database on American consumers – who they are, what they buy, how they think and how to reach them.

Neighborhood Scout – a database of U.S. neighborhood statistics.  Library use only – a Reference Librarian will log you in.

Plunkett Research Online –  provides industry specific research portals including market research and trends analysis, industry statistics, and charts and company profiles.

Science Direct Social & Behavioral Sciences Collection –  spans many disciplines and includes 350 full-text peer-reviewed journal titles. The full-text materials will be indicated by a green box next to the title, other material may include the citation or abstract only.
