  3. Robert Cormier – Author of The Chocolate War, I Am the Cheese, and We All Fall Down.
  4. J.K. Rowling – Author of the Harry Potter series.
  5. Michael Willhoite – Author of Daddy’s Roommate.
  6. Katherine Paterson – Author of Bridge to Terabithia and The Great Gilly Hopkins.
  7. Stephen King – Author of Carrie, It, and The Stand.
  8. Maya Angelou – Author of I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
  9. R.L. Stine – Author of the Goosebumps series.
  10. John Steinbeck – Author of Of Mice and Men and The Grapes of Wrath.
